Some time soon Apple is about to Shit all over the iPhone
Expect it to go something a little like this:
It runs Mac Os X, it has a 5 megapixel camera that also records video, it carries all your photos videos and music, it streams broadband speed internet content to you where ever you go, oh and its a phone... you'll enjoy skype on.
Why not imagine it? IPhone already runs Mac Os X on an intel chip, Flash Memory is getting cheaper and cheaper (ipod touch is now at 16GB) so with 32GB you'll have space for a lot more media, just add a faster processor, faster internet speeds & a year of development from 3rd party companies porting their applications & you've got the most portable mac ever released.
Skype to Skype is free, put Skype on an iPhone and the only bill you'll ever pay is to the Network for use of their wireless (Talk is buzzing of Adding free Wireless to Dublin after trials in smaller towns) but 02 will be there until the worlds ready. Google Earth will give you 3D satellite navigation in your pocket, widgets will allow you to download apps that do anything, you can even make your own, Games are here already give it a while and you'll see Doom II, and enjoy playing will all your new media on a larger screen or on your computer when you sync it with your phone when you get home.

Internet Radio, Syned Contacts Callenders & To Do's, Instant Messaging & Video Chat, Text prediction & auto correction, and all your files on a mountable drive with all your media on a device that plugs into a HD Television or Stereo.
